Sir Keir Starmer plans to press supporting countries to deliver Ukraine with further long-range missiles to target enemy locations during talks in London on the upcoming Friday.

Britain's leader is set to welcome Ukraine's leader the Ukrainian head of state alongside what's known as "group of committed partners", consisting of more than 20 of supporting nations who have pledged to offer the Ukrainian government security guarantees once a ceasefire is brokered.

The Ukrainian leader has been pleading for several weeks for additional long-range weapons from the West, a step that Moscow has cautions would intensify the hostilities.

The Prime Minister will encourage leaders to increase the delivery of long-range weapons following an effective strike on a manufacturing site in the Bryansk region, the Russian Federation, using Britain-delivered missile systems.
